  • What makes Wovenique hats different from other Panama hats?
    Each Wovenique hat is handwoven, over the course of weeks to months. The attention to detail placed on every hat is different compared to some Panama hat alternatives that may be manufactured in mass, without the individualized hand craftsmanship. Wovenique hats are authentically Made in Ecuador, the official birthplace of the Panama hat.
  • How can I care for my Panama hat?
    Due to the delicate nature of Panama hats, it's important to handle your hat with care to promote longevity. First, avoid exposure to water and store in a cool and dry place. Panama hats will absorb water and when dry can compromise the shape. Also, one should avoid handling their hat by the “crown”, we recommend handling the hat by the brim to preserve each hat's integral shape. Any stains or smudges should be addressed with a gentle dry cloth. Although we cannot guarantee the absence of natural aging, Panama hats are built to last and when handled with care can last many years. Modifications made to a hat as a result of handling may impact eligibility for return or exchange. Please refer to our return and exchange policy for more details.
  • What size should I order?
    Sizing will vary. We offer hats in Small, Medium, Large and XL. Our "kids" hats are considered the equivalent of an adult XS. Although certain models run smaller or larger than others, we recommend referring to our size guide for the best fit. In the event a size ordered does not work, you may refer to our Return & Exchanges section for options.
  • What if my hat is too big or too small?
    Each Panama hat is woven by hand so variations in sizing may exist. For hats that are only slightly too big, a discrete foam insert can be applied within the interior band. Please keep in mind once an adhesive is applied to a hat, it cannot be exchanged or returned. Test the sizing by applying the insert without removing the adhesive strip. In the event a hat ordered is not the right size, Wovenique may honor an exchange or return if the return conditions are met. Please refer to our Return & Exchange policy for more details.
  • What if the hat I want is not available?
    In the event your desired hat is not in stock, you may contact info@wovenique.com for information on re-stocking or pre-order. You may also inquire about custom orders for hat styles that may not be offered, select fees may apply.
